Membership

Anyone who wishes to join is considered a member! Non-students are welcome to become members also!

We are looking for new officers! Our open positions are:

Financial Chair:

• Oversees club finances, collects dues, collects all money from fundraising events and brings it to the SAC Finance Office

• Coordinates with Special Events chair to ensure that event budgets are realistic

Social Media Chair:

• Posts about club activities to club social media pages

• Posts relevant information to the club social media pages

• Responds to comments sent through the social media pages (as necessary)

• Develops and maintains the club’s website

• Cooperates with Special Events Chair to make and post flyers over campus to announce larger scale events as well as regular meeting times

• Posts regularly about larger scale events on club social media pages

Special Events Chair:

• Creates a timeline in order to make sure everything is ready for events by the time the day of the event arrives

• Creates advertisements for events and coordinates with Social Media Chair to get them published on social media

• Creates a flyer for events and for regular club meetings and coordinates with Social Media Chair to post the flyers all around campus

• Creates a rough budget of all events and coordinates with Financial Chair to ensure event budgets are realistic

• Communicates with other clubs and UNM Resource Centers to let them know about special events
